Qualifications and Education
- BSc (Hons) Environmental Science at The University of Stirling, with placement at Guelph University, Canada
- MSc in International Disaster Management at The University of Manchester
Background
Esme grew up in Northwest Cumbria, where she developed a passion and love for the outdoors and rugged landscapes. This sparked her interest in the natural world, resulting in an environmentally focused route through University. After placements in areas such as Nikavale refugee settlement, Uganda, and the biodiverse-rich Algonquin Park, Ontario, Esme settled on a more local environmental scale, where she hopes to help support the H&H team in ensuring the environment we know and love, is safeguarded for future generations.
My happy place
A wild swim in Crummock Water, followed by a (very) hot cuppa!
