Hobbies & Interests
Particularly keen on field sports, including stalking roe and red, occasional walked-up pheasant days and annual trip to Anglesey for woodcock and snipe. Currently seeking a DIY shoot be become involved in!   Would love more time to go trout fishing on the fly.

Also spend time on the hills, walking the fells, scrambling ridges and climbing crags. I have a couple of part trained gun dogs who join me.  When not out in the countryside, I read up on topics of conservation, woodland management, natural history and other related subjects or am found in my workshop building something like my current log splitter project or teaching myself new skills such as arc welding and hydraulic design.

Married in 2007 to Liz (Outdoor Instructor) now with three children.
