Leanne Graves reaches the career milestone of becoming a fully qualified member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors!
H&H Land & Estates are proud to announce that Leanne Graves, a member of our Carlisle office, has passed her Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and is now a qualified member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). As one of the largest firms of independent rural property advisors in the north of the UK, we are known for our professional advice and services of farm business advice, land management and development and land agency, and as a company are proud to be supporting and inspiring the next generation of chartered surveyors.
Having been educated at Caldew School and Austin Friars School in Carlisle, Leanne went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from Harper Adams University and gain experience in the utility sector where she worked on major infrastructure projects. Leanne then set out to pursue a career as a chartered surveyor and is now a fully qualified member of the RICS and a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV).
Brought up on her family’s dairy farm in High Hesket, Carlisle, Leanne is familiar with all aspects of farming life. In her spare time, she pursues many outdoor activities including British Eventing, clay shooting, hiking and open water swimming in the Lake District.
On achieving her RICS qualification, Leanne said: “I am very pleased to have passed my APC examinations to become a member of the RICS. I am so grateful for the guidance and support of my colleagues here at H&H Land and Estates as well as from other peers in the profession; they have offered me invaluable assistance in my preparations for the final assessment. H&H have provided me with the breadth of experience required to acquire this qualification, I am very thankful for this and look forward to continuing my profession in the rural sector.”
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is an internationally recognised professional body for surveyors, they promote and enforce the highest international standards of valuation, management, and development of land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure.
Tim Sedgewick, Associate Director and Chartered Surveyor for H&H Land & Estates commented: “This is a landmark moment for Leanne. Passing the RICS exam ensures that she will be giving the highest quality client service with all the knowledge, experience and skill she now has. At H&H Land & Estates we are focused on encouraging and supporting the younger and newer members of our team to continuously broaden their knowledge and go further with their qualifications. I am so pleased to see that Leanne has done this so successfully.”
