Hobbies and Interests

Much of my time is spent with my two children. We enjoy being out and about in the local countryside and they usually find the mud wherever they go.

I also enjoy spending time walking my dog, Maggie. And looking after the many other pets we have on the family farm including cats, parrots and stick insects.

During the summer we oftens attend local music festivals.

In my spare time I like to be in my shed upcycling furniture.

I also enjoy photography.

Background

I grew up on my parents’ dairy farm along with my 4 sisters. And always had a great love of looking after animals.

After going to Nelson Thomlinson school in Wigton I went to Myerscough College (UCLAN) near Preston. Completing my HND and BSc and then moving back to Cumbria.

I have worked in Agriculture for most of my working life. And married my dairy farmer husband in 2013.

Happy Place

This would have to be listening to live music at a festival, beer in hand.
