GRANT DEADLINE REMINDER: 20TH MAY 2022
Farms within the “high and medium priority areas” are eligible for grant funding for various items to improve water quality through the Mid-Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
Items include:
- Roofing over Middens/Silage Pits/Livestock Gathering Areas - £62/sqm
- Concrete yard renewal - £27.14/sqm
- Livestock and machinery tracks - £33/m
- Floating and self supporting covers for slurry stores £5.60/sqm & £30.50/sqm
- Automatic slurry scrapers £2,760/passageway/channel
- And many more...
Applications under £20,000 fall under the Capital Grant Scheme for which there is no application deadline.
Applications over £20,000 fall under the Mid Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme with a deadline for requesting CSFO Approval for water and air quality items being 20th May 2022.
