We have been trying to move home back up north, but finding it very difficult as its a 7 hour journey to see houses. We were lucky enough with H&H as Kate was happy enough to do us a video call viewing on FaceTime. Despite it being a very busy weekend for her, she got to us eventually on a Sunday afternoon. She didn’t rush anything and was very chatty, honest and knowledgeable about the whole viewing. Hopefully it could be the house for us!

What a brilliant estate agent! We had a nightmare purchasing our beautiful new cottage due to a very complex financial situation, and having a mortgage broker flat out give up on us 6 months in. Despite all of this, Sharon could clearly see that we were serious and had all good intent of proceeding with the purchase. Sharon frequently kept in contact throughout to provide updates to both myself and the vendor, so we knew progress was under way. Most of all, Sharon went above and beyond in many situations. Making the effort to go our her way to call my mortgage broker when he was ignoring me, or my solicitor when they needed a push. We can't thank Sharon and the team enough. I truly don't think we'd have been able to purchase the property without their help. Thank you!

My experience with H & H lettings has been excellent, Sarah the lettings manager is very professional, while still being very friendly & approachable, answering all questions, very patient if we asked what were probably unnecessary questions & looking to ensure that we get tenants that will fit in with what we want. While checking the house out between tenants & cutting the grass we met Justin who does viewings & he was brilliant. He is very friendly, while being on the ball at the same time, asking what we would be looking for in a tenement, so that as he showed people round he would be able to assess who were the most suitable people for us, passing that information on to Sarah & her team.

Sarah has looked after the re-letting for us very efficiently and smoothly. Very happy with the service.

Have used this company twice having had excellent service from a member of their staff who previously worked for another company. The offices in Grange-over-Sands and Penrith were both brilliant at marketing my 2 properties , successfully sold. In particular the office in Penrith I felt negotiated really well on my behalf and demonstrated flexibility enabling the property to remain available for sale at a time other agents refused , resulting in a sale. I have run a property business for 30 years buying and selling so can recognise good service when I see it. Recently I have been looking to buy in Carlisle and have had frequent contact with that office and found them very communicative and keen to help me.

We have used other branches of H&H before - always helpful and approachable...the agents really seem to want to help. This time, we found a property to buy! When we first viewed the property, it was still under government Covid restrictions but this wasn't the agent's fault. We were stuck in a difficult chain and James liaised well with the different parties. He persuaded sellers to remain on-board. The offices are friendly and easily located. Would definitely use them again.

The team at H&H land estates were nothing short of most excellent. From the onset of our purchase, the correspondence, assistance with legal matters and smooth running through to the handover of keys was exemplary. We bought a house marketed by H&H. Viewings were easy to arrange and H&H had no problem with us viewing again to measure up etc. James Harrison was helpful and informative and proved to be better at communicating with us than the estate agent firm we had chosen to sell with. We’ll be coming to H&H if we decide to sell in the future.
