Actively involved in the management of an extensive in-hand Scottish Estate, provide advice on range of tenancy agreements, carried out a variety of farm business grant applications and schemes. Basic Payment Scheme applications, planning advice and heavily involved in valuations as an RICS approved Valuer.

Hobbies & Interests

Fell walking, travelling, skiing, eating food, clay pigeon shooting (although not a very good shot), open water swimming and working with livestock.

 

Background

Grown up on a family beef and sheep farm near Caldbeck, now live on beef and sheep farm near Westward, Wigton and help out on the farm when I can. Attended Nelson Thomlinson school in Wigton before going to Harper Adams University to study Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 2013. Spent my placement year as an assistance land agent at H&H. Graduated from Harper Adams in 2017 and then spent 3 months travelling around the world before coming back to H&H in October 2017. Became a Fellow of CAAV in December 2018 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in October 2019.
