Following our recent move to new offices in the centre of Kendal, we are very happy to report that property buyers and sellers in the North West are showing more confidence in the market than the gloomy media picture would suggest.

The market is still clearly more cautious today than it was before interest rates went up, and prices are slightly down, but there are many cash buyers looking for houses, mortgage rates have stabilised, and people are still buying and selling properties in the North West.
In fact, Rightmove figures for our LA8 and LA9 South Lakes postcode areas show that, as of 1st October 2023, there were 349 available properties in the area, which is 80% higher than the 193 available on 1st October 2022. We are currently offering a range of properties for sale from our Kendal office, and many buyers are agreeing sales when sellers take the right approach to marketing their property.
