Director Returns to Promote Development Opportunities
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Helen Russell as our new Director of Land Development.
A highly qualified Chartered Surveyor and a former Director of the company, Helen returns to H&H Land & Estates bringing five year’s invaluable experience specialising in land development, most recently as Land Director for a National Plc house builder.
Based predominantly in our Carlisle office, Helen will be responsible for the growth of the land development support that we can offer clients across our offices in Cumbria, the North East, Durham and Yorkshire. Helen will work closely with fellow Directors Tim Sedgewick, Thomas Armstrong, and Mark Barrow to support the company’s continuing expansion in all facets of land and estate management, valuation, rural land and property sales, and in reaching new client bases.
“Helen’s return marks another major step forward in our growth,” says H&H Land & Estates Managing Director Mark Johnson. “She rejoins us at a time when we have expanded into new head offices at Staveley in Kendal and established a presence for the first time in Yorkshire. Helen’s recent specialist experience includes helping to secure some of the biggest property and land development opportunities in the North East, and her experience will now add another very important dimension to the breadth of our expertise and the support we can offer clients in this critical area of land management.
“Our success is rooted very firmly in the quality of our people, and Helen’s return is a great addition to the team. She will be warmly welcomed by a great many people within the company and by clients who remember her, and we know she will make a formidable contribution to our evolution.”
Helen Russell will take up her new role with H&H Land & Estates, based in the Carlisle office, on 6th November, but will support across the wider geography as appropriate. “It’s a great pleasure to be returning to H&H Land & Estates and to be able to add my experience in land development to the company’s portfolio of expertise. Over the past five years the company has developed and grown enormously, expanding its services, and opening new offices, and I am really excited to be working with colleagues old and new and to be part of the H&H Land & Estates success story once again.”
