The pre-app was submitted on the basis of a scheme of 48 residential dwellings and was generally supportive subject to a number of comments. LEASE TO NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL The area of the site that comprises football pitches, as shown edged blue on the plan overleaf, is leased to Northumberland County Council, with a remaining term on the lease up to December 2042. It is anticipated that any proposed residential development scheme, or other use of the land by a purchaser, would come forward alongside the continued use of this part of the site as a football club. ACCESS Access to the site is taken directly from the public road to the east of the site, the B6306. There are good sightline distances from the existing access point, to both the north and south.
